My name is Sean Neal. I attend Lake Shore High School as a senior in the class of 2014. My dream career is doing something that I love to do. My passion is to entertain others and make them happy while doing the things that I love to do which are music and acting. I believe that I am a very honest person. Most of my time is taken up doing things to further me in achieving my future goals. I am in my school’s show choir along with the community show choir and my church choir. I am also in band.
My academics are above average. So far I am 31 in my class of about 350. My favorite subject is probably math because memorization is a very strong suit of mine. Math is mostly memorizing formulas and I do that well. My weak point is science. It is something that I have never been interested in. I have wanted to be in the entertainment industry since I was really young. It was my first career choice. I have learned that keeping a positive attitude and trying new things with an open mind can introduce you to new things and new people that you did not know you would enjoy.
“I don't know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody.” -Bill Cosby. This quote is something that I live by. All throughout my life, I have witnessed people trying to please others and they just end up being hurt or taken advantage of. I believe that in order to help others, you must help yourself first. Doing things to help everyone else first is taking a huge step toward failure. I am not saying that it is a bad thing to help others; however, there is a difference between helping and being taken advantage of. I used to be that guy that everyone walked all over. My friends previously "borrowed" money and broke my things but I have learned that I do not have to live through that anymore. Each instance that I stand up for myself and embrace who I am I take a step closer to success everyday.
