The author of this article is Chris Widener. The article is titled 10 Things I Wish I Would Have Known Before Going into the Real World. This was about the struggles you may face in life. It gives you ten facts that everyone will encounter at some point and you can either deal with it or try to run away but it is there and it happens to everyone. This article is giving you the negative aspects of life, however, it also highlights the positive aspects of life and that the positive points of life outweigh the negative.
I completely agree with this article. Even though I have only lived for seventeen years, I know that that life is not fair because of the industry that I want to go into. I have tried steering away from it by attempting to find other passions but I cannot go away from it without feeling unhappy. I will take the articles advice to focus on the positive aspects of life and dealing with the negative ones. I am not the type to give up on anything and I strive to succeed.
I will need this information in the future because it is helpful insight on just how unfair life is. It is one thing to tell someone that life is not fair but explaining it is really helpful and I can see that it is not fair. Life is worth living and making the best of because no matter how many things that life throws at you as long as you keep a positive attitude and do not give in then life is not so bad. The change that I will make for the future is to not look at the negatives for any situation first. I will do what I want to do with an open mind and be optimistic to make life more enjoyable. In the workplace, this article describes that there will be jobs that are perfect for you and it ends up going to someone else that is not suited as well for it. This is not fair but dwelling on it is not a productive thing to do. Moving on and learning is the best thing for you to do.
Fair: free from bias, dishonesty, or injustice
Negative: expressing or containing negation or denial
